REBUILDING OF AFFECTED FAMILIES REQUIRED THE FOLLOWING IMMEDIATE INTERVENTIONS:
1. Housing facilities:
" Repairs to 3000 partly damaged houses
" Setting up 1550 temporary shelter facilities for the families who are at camps
" Permanent housing facilities for 1550 families who lost their houses completely
2. Rehabilitation of widows 60 and orphans 100
" Foster parents
" Establish Orphanage system
" Establish elders home
" Safety houses for women/girls who lost their husband and fathers
" Livelihood support for widows
" Trauma counseling
3. Rebuilding of livelihoods for 7000 affected families.
" Provision of food and clothing for six months
" Rebuilding of economic infrastructure
" Provision of vocational training
" Provision of equipments and tools, Fishing boats ,gears, nets etc
" Financial support for restarting the small and medium term business that lost their business and infrastructure.
4. Rehabilitation of damaged schools - 07
" Provision of furniture
" Provision of books and materials
5. Rehabilitation of free school - 15
6. Rehabilitation of Mosques - 13
7. Rehabilitation of Quranic Madarasa -13
8. Rehabilitation of Hindu temple - 2

" Rebuilding of MOH Office
" Rebuilding Transport board
" Re building of MPCS, cooperatives shops
